A Clean Palate Thirsting for New Vision
The idea: An office door leading to a shared lunch and meeting room acted as a visual dead-end rather than an invitation. The goal was to take this flat, blank surface and create a sense of depth and arrival, turning a functional barrier into a welcoming "portal" that reflects the room’s casual purpose.
The Evolution: I replaced the blank office door with a custom-designed mural centered on unique, hand-crafted typography. To achieve the right tone for a casual meeting space, I explored several iterations of the typeface, refining the strokes and spacing until the composition felt balanced. Combined with a refreshing color palette, the final graphic creates a smooth transition between the busy hallway and the interior space, turning a standard office fixture into an engaging piece of environmental art.
